Horse Slobber and Thunder

Went horseback riding today with a girl named Becca from my art class. She has Four horses right now, although I only met three of them today. I rode a Gelding named Corona, yes after the beer:) and she rode a Gelding named Mischeif. The third horse I met today is a stallion named... well we kinda just called him Stud. hahaha

Pictures to come soon but I had to take them on my phone and have no way to get them off my phone right now.

My family will enjoy this story, although they have heard it a million times. First we drove to Becca's house to let one of her dogs out and get the saddles, before she opened the door she stoped with her hand on the knob and said "Be prepared he will bark at you." not even a "he might bark at you" He will. So I prepare myself to be barked at by this Chauaua mix. She opens the door and he comes running out and jumps right up on my leg to be petted. not one bark:) and with her look of amazment she goes "I cant believe this, This never happens, he always barks!" haha and all I could do was laugh.

So we finally get all the saddles and blankets, and we arrive at the pasture where she is keeping three of her horses. We get both of them saddled(more like SHE gets them both saddled while I hold their lead ropes) and For some reason Mischeif decided he wanted to lick me EVERYWHERE, and Corona decided he wanted to rub his head ALL over me. So not only did I have a good layer of Horse slobber everywhere, but I also had a Layer of Hair&dirt on top of that! haha I didnt mind at all:) the only down side was that there was a thunderstorm comming so both horses were spooked and didnt wanna listen to us at all. Corona didnt want to trot for me he just wanted to either walk or take off in a canter back around the arena to where Mischeif was tied. Oh well:)

I had so much fun today and Becca Wants to go riding again and baraid all their manes and tails and make them look pretty:)

This girl is my hero, Every animal she has is adopted! Four Horses(she just sold her fifth one yesterday), three dogs, and three cats:)

I am actually kinda sad to go home now:) but in 8 days I will check out from my dorm and Its back to Stanwood for me for the summer! and in about 30 hours Shawn will pick me up and its off to the airport for us! Off to Wisconsin for Alyssa's Graduation from College:)

Well time for bed So I can wake up early To study for my Math test tomorrow!!

The World of Christina

Here I am again! posting another blog so soon:) here is an update on things happening in the world of Christina.

Classes-
Got signed up for every class I wanted! only had to change one time a little to fit one class in but luckily I was able to fit it in. Next year my schedule will be as follows,

• Spanish 151 at 11:00-11:50 M-F
• Latino&Latin American Studies 102 2:00-4:05pm TuTh
• Information Technology 101 4:00-4:50pm MoWe
• Diving 110 9:00-9:50am TuTh

I'm really excited to start Spanish:) I probably could have started at 251 instead which is 2nd year Spanish, but I thought it would be smart to have a refreasher course.

As for grades! I have my final grade For my Theater class already since there is no class this coming monday, I passed with a 95%!!! :) as for art, iI have a few more quizes and a project still due but right now I have a 91% and it will surely go up after this project seeing how it is only four power point slides long.

I also got myself a few puzzles! and I am of course doing the Tiger one first:) and an update on my finger, for those who dont know I tore a chunk of my finger off with my rasor, it is doing better, finally scabbed over:) haha so gross though:)

And now it is time for me to finish my art project!

Whew! This Quarter has gone by so fast! I'm not sure if I'm ready for it to be over yet! but here I am again faced with the decision of which classes to sign up for. I met with my counselor today to get an advising hold off my account to be able to sign up for classes tomorrow. She said I was doing great, down a few credits but that is because I dropped the class last quarter. Looked through classes today and think I will take these classes if they are all still open tomorrow when I get to sign up.

Reading Alyssa's blog made me think maybe I should post one too.

Classes are going great, Im not sure of my grade in math but my Grades in my Art and Theater classes are really good. I have taken 4 quizes in theater, three of them I Scored 10 outta 10 and two of them I scored 9 outta 10. Which puts me at about a 96%! My grade in my Art class is a little more confusing than my theater, but I will give it a good shot.

quiz 1, 88pts+10pts extra credit= 98pts
quiz 2, 92pts
quiz 3, 78pts
quiz 4, 98pts
this gives me a 91%
Since tomorrows lecture is worth another 10 points extra credit, after tomorrow I will have a 94%! wahooo! :)

Well thats about it for happy news, Me and Luis broke up after a year and a half. Life goes on I guess, Had a great weekend. My friend Michael's mom and sister came to visit, and were planning on staying in Michaels dorm room with him and his roommate(which is half the size of my room with only two beds) so I offered them to stay in my room, where I have three extra beds, a shower and a sink. It was soooo much fun! Laughed all weekend together and I fit in with the family sooo well:) His sister is my new best friend even! This is her and me on our way to yakima on saturday.

The Little Girl

It has been a crazy month of April! Im Happy its over but a lot has happened so heres a quick recap!
Week 1- Shopping in Seattle! So much fun! Went with my friend shannon. We had a blast.
Week 2- Homework and quizes!
Week 3- Roommate moved out, Luis came to visit, Auntie sue came to visit! Another quiz (92%!!yay!)
Week 4- My birthday, thank you Shawn and Nikki who let us use their house for the fun party:), our 1 year and 6 month anniversary, Luis' birthday!
Hopefully May is a little calmer than April.

Well heres an update on classes! Loving my art class! Well... mostly loving my teacher, she makes the art fun:) I should start posting all the funny things she says... heres a funny one "It was Imaculate(sp?) conception, there was no father he was just there, this perfect little light... thats how we all get pregnant the first time." hahaha didnt see that one coming. Math class is... Math class. Its not hard, and not extremely easy. And theater class is fun:) even though we only watch movies and proformances. Last week we watched hitchcocks Psyco. Sooo good surprizingly:)

Listened to a really good song today, its called The Little Girl by John Micheal Montgomery. I recomend everyone go listen to it! Its so good I had to name my Blog post after it:)

Its Been Soooooo Long!

I am sorry its been so long since I have written! I have been pretty busy lately with my new classes and trying to get settled again.

Update!

Sorry I havent written a blog in sooo long! School just got super crazy! Got luis all moved into his new appartment, Did all my major projects(which turned out to be all due the same day) and now I have time to relax...

Well school is going good, like I said earlier I had two projects due last friday and I only have one final this coming week which is on friday. Hopefully it wont  be to bad since its just a normal test, and Ive already had two of them in that class and they were not very hard. Thats all I can think of to say right now, my roomie wants me to go to dinner with her so Ill try to keep everyone updated better than i have been.
