Halloween already!

Goodness where has time gone??? Today is Halloween!  well I guess I should probably Update everyone on what Ive been up to lately so here I go!

Like I mentioned in the last blog we carved pumpkins:) it was so much fun and the boys made the funniest faces ever! My friend Keelia had come to visit for the weekend and she carved some with us:) here are some pictures of this event!

A couple weekends ago My boys wanted to go to seattle so I packed them all into my car and away we went! It was a lot of fun! Ive never met anyone who took more pictures than I do but these boys take the crown! By everything! "Take a picture of me" haha ok boys.

Last weekend I got to go visit Kyle in Spokane! It was super fun and cant wait to go again! I got to hold a baby all day on saturday and feed it real food for the first time (if you consider refried beens real food) and it fell asleep in my arms twice:) love cuddling with babies. OH and I got to cuddle with Kyles dogs! It was just the best weekend for me. a perfect vacation!

Well I cant think of anything else to write! Except I love my boys! and Ive turned into their Mama! Everything I say or do has turned into "Ok mama" or "Thank you Mama" haha Even my boyfriend calls me Mama. Were like a little family:) its super fun! Hmmm strange i just heard one of my boys laughing next door. think im gonna go investigate;)

Ooops.

Well, I Will Just start off by appologizing for how long it took me to start writing again! I have had sooooo much homework, and the little free time I have had I have spent at the gym playing volleyball.

I love my New dorm and I love all my classes! Im currently taking Spanish, Latino and Latin American Studies, Diving, and Information Tech 101(IT101). Best part about my new college year is my awesome roommate! we get along so well!

Me and My roommate have made a bunch of Saudi Arabian Guy friends! the other night we were invited to eat Arabic food with them and to talk with them:) Last night I made a few of them Tacos and they Loved it:) and tonight we are gonna carve pumpkins (which they have never even seen). They are such nice guys!

What else is new... Right now I can hear the CWU Drumline Playing in the statium from where I lay here in my bed:) kinda cool! and I am excited, my friend Keelia is coming to spend the weekend with me! I cant wait to show her around my school! and she is bringing her Dog, Maddi... Shhhhhh! haha

Horse Slobber and Thunder

Went horseback riding today with a girl named Becca from my art class. She has Four horses right now, although I only met three of them today. I rode a Gelding named Corona, yes after the beer:) and she rode a Gelding named Mischeif. The third horse I met today is a stallion named... well we kinda just called him Stud. hahaha

Pictures to come soon but I had to take them on my phone and have no way to get them off my phone right now.

My family will enjoy this story, although they have heard it a million times. First we drove to Becca's house to let one of her dogs out and get the saddles, before she opened the door she stoped with her hand on the knob and said "Be prepared he will bark at you." not even a "he might bark at you" He will. So I prepare myself to be barked at by this Chauaua mix. She opens the door and he comes running out and jumps right up on my leg to be petted. not one bark:) and with her look of amazment she goes "I cant believe this, This never happens, he always barks!" haha and all I could do was laugh.

So we finally get all the saddles and blankets, and we arrive at the pasture where she is keeping three of her horses. We get both of them saddled(more like SHE gets them both saddled while I hold their lead ropes) and For some reason Mischeif decided he wanted to lick me EVERYWHERE, and Corona decided he wanted to rub his head ALL over me. So not only did I have a good layer of Horse slobber everywhere, but I also had a Layer of Hair&dirt on top of that! haha I didnt mind at all:) the only down side was that there was a thunderstorm comming so both horses were spooked and didnt wanna listen to us at all. Corona didnt want to trot for me he just wanted to either walk or take off in a canter back around the arena to where Mischeif was tied. Oh well:)

I had so much fun today and Becca Wants to go riding again and baraid all their manes and tails and make them look pretty:)

This girl is my hero, Every animal she has is adopted! Four Horses(she just sold her fifth one yesterday), three dogs, and three cats:)

I am actually kinda sad to go home now:) but in 8 days I will check out from my dorm and Its back to Stanwood for me for the summer! and in about 30 hours Shawn will pick me up and its off to the airport for us! Off to Wisconsin for Alyssa's Graduation from College:)

Well time for bed So I can wake up early To study for my Math test tomorrow!!

The World of Christina

Here I am again! posting another blog so soon:) here is an update on things happening in the world of Christina.

Classes-
Got signed up for every class I wanted! only had to change one time a little to fit one class in but luckily I was able to fit it in. Next year my schedule will be as follows,

• Spanish 151 at 11:00-11:50 M-F
• Latino&Latin American Studies 102 2:00-4:05pm TuTh
• Information Technology 101 4:00-4:50pm MoWe
• Diving 110 9:00-9:50am TuTh

I'm really excited to start Spanish:) I probably could have started at 251 instead which is 2nd year Spanish, but I thought it would be smart to have a refreasher course.

As for grades! I have my final grade For my Theater class already since there is no class this coming monday, I passed with a 95%!!! :) as for art, iI have a few more quizes and a project still due but right now I have a 91% and it will surely go up after this project seeing how it is only four power point slides long.

I also got myself a few puzzles! and I am of course doing the Tiger one first:) and an update on my finger, for those who dont know I tore a chunk of my finger off with my rasor, it is doing better, finally scabbed over:) haha so gross though:)

And now it is time for me to finish my art project!

Whew! This Quarter has gone by so fast! I'm not sure if I'm ready for it to be over yet! but here I am again faced with the decision of which classes to sign up for. I met with my counselor today to get an advising hold off my account to be able to sign up for classes tomorrow. She said I was doing great, down a few credits but that is because I dropped the class last quarter. Looked through classes today and think I will take these classes if they are all still open tomorrow when I get to sign up.

Reading Alyssa's blog made me think maybe I should post one too.

Classes are going great, Im not sure of my grade in math but my Grades in my Art and Theater classes are really good. I have taken 4 quizes in theater, three of them I Scored 10 outta 10 and two of them I scored 9 outta 10. Which puts me at about a 96%! My grade in my Art class is a little more confusing than my theater, but I will give it a good shot.

quiz 3, 78pts
quiz 4, 98pts
this gives me a 91%
Since tomorrows lecture is worth another 10 points extra credit, after tomorrow I will have a 94%! wahooo! :)

Well thats about it for happy news, Me and Luis broke up after a year and a half. Life goes on I guess, Had a great weekend. My friend Michael's mom and sister came to visit, and were planning on staying in Michaels dorm room with him and his roommate(which is half the size of my room with only two beds) so I offered them to stay in my room, where I have three extra beds, a shower and a sink. It was soooo much fun! Laughed all weekend together and I fit in with the family sooo well:) His sister is my new best friend even! This is her and me on our way to yakima on saturday.

The Little Girl

It has been a crazy month of April! Im Happy its over but a lot has happened so heres a quick recap!
Week 1- Shopping in Seattle! So much fun! Went with my friend shannon. We had a blast.
Week 2- Homework and quizes!
Week 3- Roommate moved out, Luis came to visit, Auntie sue came to visit! Another quiz (92%!!yay!)
Week 4- My birthday, thank you Shawn and Nikki who let us use their house for the fun party:), our 1 year and 6 month anniversary, Luis' birthday!
Hopefully May is a little calmer than April.

Well heres an update on classes! Loving my art class! Well... mostly loving my teacher, she makes the art fun:) I should start posting all the funny things she says... heres a funny one "It was Imaculate(sp?) conception, there was no father he was just there, this perfect little light... thats how we all get pregnant the first time." hahaha didnt see that one coming. Math class is... Math class. Its not hard, and not extremely easy. And theater class is fun:) even though we only watch movies and proformances. Last week we watched hitchcocks Psyco. Sooo good surprizingly:)

Listened to a really good song today, its called The Little Girl by John Micheal Montgomery. I recomend everyone go listen to it! Its so good I had to name my Blog post after it:)

Its Been Soooooo Long!

I am sorry its been so long since I have written! I have been pretty busy lately with my new classes and trying to get settled again.

Update!

Sorry I havent written a blog in sooo long! School just got super crazy! Got luis all moved into his new appartment, Did all my major projects(which turned out to be all due the same day) and now I have time to relax...

Well school is going good, like I said earlier I had two projects due last friday and I only have one final this coming week which is on friday. Hopefully it wont  be to bad since its just a normal test, and Ive already had two of them in that class and they were not very hard. Thats all I can think of to say right now, my roomie wants me to go to dinner with her so Ill try to keep everyone updated better than i have been.

Obsessed? How Could I Not Be?

Yes I have aquired a new Obsession... Its a show called Ghost Adventures. I now spend all my free time watching it and even watch ones I have already seen because I like them so much... its really really interesting. The show starts off with the history of the place they are going to investigate, places like The USS Hornet, an old spanish Mission, and some old insane Hospitals. Then they interview people who have had experiences in the places, and get locked in (litterally) all night long. Really freaky but super cool.

An update on school... well there is not much to say except that I have a take home essay due next thursday. And have to start writing my final paper for The Minority experience class.

Finally got my aunts old phone, because mine is freaking out, she paid for two day shipping and I got it 20 days later... hmmmm I really dont know how that happened.

I signed up for my classes for next quarter! Here is my schedule
Monday-Friday 11:00-11:50am Art 101
Monday-Friday 1:00-1:50am Math 101
Monday 6:30-9:50pm Theater 101
and im also taking something called dance fusion but the date time and place is TBA so Im not sure when and where yet

Im pretty excited, art and theater are for breadth requirements but they are for the same requirement so only one really counts but I really wanna do them both... :) Im happy.

BREAKING POINT

Lit me just start off by saying this is gonna be a tough blog so if you dont wanna hear my wineing feel free not to read this one.

Yes today was my breaking point. Literally. Here are my reasons.

1.The really hard test (that I talked about in my previously blog)
2.I am super sick and its not getting better. The worse part is this cough... it wakes me up at night so...
3.Woke up really really tired today.
4.My AIS teachers also said they are going to over compansate in the other tests because we all did so poorly.
5.I have a group project in AIS and i found out that 2 of my group mates(there is only 4 people in the group including me) dropped out of the class. When I asked my teacher what I can do he said "lets wait and see if some others drop out and ill probably put you in that group" which stresses me out because he told us to start researching so all the information is not gone and we can get articles from other libraries if we need it... so Im sutck waiting to see what happens.
6.I have a test on tuesday, with an essay that i will get on friday and it will be due on tuesday with the test. Today I went in before class and asked if there was any way I could get it early so I could get the essay done before I went home, but he said that he couldnt get it online until thursday night... um really? and then he said the best he could do was to let me turn it in a day late... well I guess thats better than nothing.
7.I got seriously pounded on in water polo today. got swam over, hit over and over and over again in the same part of my arm when someone wanted the ball that I had, and got kicked a few times in the stomach. When i got out I just sat in the locker room in my suit for 20 min before getting the energy to get dressed...
8.When I got out to my car i had a PARKING TICKET. For "not having a parking pass" which was total bs because I HAVE ONE!!!! So I went to the parking office, took my parking pass in with me and here is how it played out... walked in and put my parking ticket and my parking pass down on the counter and said "I got this(ticket), I have this(parking pass)" and thats all I could really say at that point. She had me fill out a paper to apeal the ticket and I gave it to her and she was confident that i would get it appealed with no problem because they would give them prouf that I have a pass. I left feeling a little better until...
9.IN THE 5 MIN I WAS FILLING OUT THAT PAPER I GOT ANOTHER PARKING TICKET. because i took my pass into the office with me...This was my breaking point. I grabbed the new ticket off my window, put my pass in my window, walked back into the office and almost threw the ticket at the lady and said "Here you can just have this back" and burst into tears. poor girl. she had me fill out another paper and wrote on it that she saw that I had my pass in the office with me. gah! At this point I got back to my car, broke down sobbing again, called luis and poor guy had to talk to me like that... until I called Grandma and she made me feel better.

And here is where my day started to turn around.

After I calmed down a bit, I went to the Library to try and get some work done. I had just gotten there and got my computer all set up when I remembered I had to go meet with my advisor to get the hold off my acount so I can sign up for my classes and sign up for what room I want next year... so back out to my car again (no ticket this time thank the Lord) and I was off to Hertz hall to meet with Lisa. I walked in and the first thing she asked me was "How are you doing?" bless her heart, Im sure she wasnt ready for my answer but she wanted to hear it so I told her. Everything. Well a long story short she said I had way too much on my plate withall my classes and my sickness... she told me she thought I should drop the class that was making me "bleed" the most, that was causing me the most pain. after talking to her for about 30 min we decided that that was my Latino & Latin American Studies class, and she told me to take the next couple days to think about dropping that class. She told me it wont hurt me because I am not currently getting financial aid. I thought about it for about 30 sec and realized that thats what needed to happen. She went on saying that I shouldnt feel bad about it and it doesnt mean I failed, its smarter to take a withdraw than take a Fail and screw up my Gpa. So I did it. I dropped the class. and i feel so much better. like im not going to fail all my classes now. I feel like I have a handle on my life. In no way do i feel like I have failed. I feel like I took control of my life.

So all in all I feel better now. When I woke up today I had no idea that I would End up doing all the things I would today... but in the end im still alive and thats all that really matters.

Lots has happened...

Well lots has happened in the time that I havent written a blog... sorry but my life has gone from relaxation to complete caos. Warning:this post is going to be extremely long seeing as it will be covering the last four weeks I believe.

The first weekend was the weekend of Kaelee's birthday party, which if I am remembering right was on saturday the 15th. My friend Emily Maywood(not my roommate) made a surprise visit to my dorm on friday! We had fun that night and we attended Kaelee's b-day party on saturday. When we arrived back at my dorm around 6:50 I got a call from Luis that said come let him in... another surprise visit! I guess I was just a popular person that weekend. Emily was headed home that night so I spent the rest of the day and most of Sunday with Luis.

The next Weekend starting friday through that Sunday Luis again decided to come visit only this time for a reason. As he put it "its our first Monthaversery(we celebrate the day we started dating every month, usually this just means we try to hang out but this month it was different because...) of the new year!" haha it was really cute because he brought me a rose and a really cute card... my first card from him:)

The weekend of the 28th of January through the 30th, Emily (my roommate) decided she wanted to go shopping in yakima. So we took a full day trip and just hung out together all day long! So much fun and the first time we have just hung out like that.

This weekend was also interesting. Luis decided to make another appearence only this time he came on Wensday and left today. That is one of the longest times he has come. he didnt like it very much that I had to do my homework while he was here which also required me to be in the liberary, and him too. On Thursday he went to my classes with me... I thought it was good for him but he really hated it and made it very clear to me it was the most boring thing to just sit there for two 50 min classes. And my reply? "I do this every day." On Saturdday we went to Look at the elk, which was a little dissapointing because they were up on the hill far away. On Saturday We went to look for apartments in yakima because Luis is moving there to go to YVCC. We found many nice expencive ones and many cheap falling apart ones, and we found one really good one. It is right accross the streat from the College, and it is two bedrooms for $575 per month. Which is really good since he has someone who wants to move and go there with him so they would only pay like $290 each. which he thinks is really good. We also went to look at the Elk that are up on the way to White Pass close to Yakima. And we saw tons!!!! here are a few pictures!

Well Luis loved this a lot.

Now for the bad news.... I probably failed my midterm... and there is nothing I could do about it. The way this midterm worked was it was available online on saturday. Onced we opened it we had only 90 min to finish it and submit it. there were 5 short answer questions (200-250 words each) and one essay question (750-1000 words) not only could I barley write 200 words for each short answer but After I did those there was no time for the essay. I ended up submitting it with out answering that question which was 50 pts of 100. then I emailed my professor to see if there was anything i could to to make it up or get a better grade and he told me to retake it and try for the essay first because apperently I "didnt leave myself enough time for the essay". So i tried for that first when I retook it and there was no way I could even Get 750 words on that topic let alone in the time given... So again i emailed him to see if there was any way to use both test, because at least if he graded them both I think I would barely pass... long and hard lesson to learn... hopefully something comes along and i pass the test... or at least the class.

Thats enough of my ranting...

New housing assignments!

Me and Emily are hoping to room together next year! CWU Choses new housing for the next year in febuary!!! The way they do it is they give everybody a lottery number and you get to chose what room you want in order of your number. And if you know who you wanna room with you can reserve their "bed" in your room. Which is a very good thing for Emily since she got a very large number. To get our lottery numbers me and Emily called the housing help line and she told us our numbers. Here was what she said when I asked what my number was, "Oooo you have a very good number! Its 190, and the day and time you can chose is 2/23/11 at 9:34am!" and when Emily asked what hers was the lady said, "Uh oh... yours is 2326... soooo it looks like Christina will be saving you a spot." hahahaha good thing we were planning on rooming together anyways! or she wouldnt get into any room she wanted.

We already decided we want to live in a dorm called Wahle(said like wall) and no i didnt spell it wrong. It is a three person suite with its own kitchen! and bath tub! so I would finally have an oven!!! and stove... i could make homemade tortillas every day of my life!!!! totally excited!

well back to my homework!

Relaxing a little.

Feeling way better about my homework load now. I still have lots but I feel like I can get it done now.

My phone is acting really crazy, it wont send texts half the time, and does really freaky things when i try to cancel the text or pick who i wanna send it too. Also some times when people try to call me they just hear a loud noise and no ringing, and when the call does go through i can barely hear the person because there is a loud noise on my end. sorry if anyone is trying to contact me and i dont respond, Im not ignoring you on purpose!

Well I guess I should get back to my homework!

HOMEWORK!!!!

Holy Crow!!!! Soooooo much homework.... no joke. All my teachers decided to give me a lot of writing and questions to answer... so much to do and have to get it done so I can go to KaeLee's B-day party on Saturday. Im really freaking out. It looks like I'll never get it done! But I know I will. Just have to sit down and do it! Maybe I just wont sleep for a few days...

Thats really all for now, just wanted to let everyone know I might not post for a few days! Not because I dont want to just because I am soooooo busy!

Good news!!!

I'm officially all better! I started getting better when i got home for MLK weekend, but when i got back to school on Tuesday i woke up for my classes and i could not stop coughing! all day! but the next day i got better!

today i got a pleasant surprise! I talked to Grandpa Loretta and Grandpa Ernie on skype! and i even got to see tapanga! made my day!

I got some homework done today, not all the reading but the day isn't over yet!

My friend invited me to his soccer game today! cant wait! its indoor soccer!

Luis came this weekend! and we went to visit Shawn and Nikki on Saturday! I didn't take any pictures because Hannah and KaeLee were down for a nap for most the time. Luis really liked Fiesta Foods, the Mexican grocery store. so he got lots of fruits and vegetables to take home.

Sickness....

So I'm really sick, really really really sick. I cannot breathe through my nose, my throat hurts really bad, and today i started coughing... and i have a bad headache from being so stuffed up and all the pressure up there. Overall I'm just really miserable...

It got to the point on Monday night that i couldn't sleep all night and finally got out of bed and took dayquil(even though it was 5:30 in the morning) just so i could breathe enough to sleep... thought that stuff was supposed to keep you up but definitely slept after that. but also there was no way i could go to my first class on Monday because i hadn't even had 3 hours of sleep yet... but made myself go to my AIS and Water Polo class(even though i didn't get in the water. Today is better in the way that i slept last night, but worse in the way that i am now coughing... oh well I'd rather sleep i guess. 

Its time to eat lunch.

untold truths....

Today i had my first yoga class!!! and it was so relaxing. Don't worry grandma my teacher even said "Some people say that yoga is tied to a religion, but is not. meditation has nothing to do with a religion. it is all about slowing down your thought process to relax your mind." and at the end of the class we got into "corpse pose" and pretty much just slept. it was amazing!

Now for the big problem, and the reason i will not continue. IT COSTS AN EXTRA $105!!! That in my opinion is WAY too much! well that is all for now!

sore and sweaty!!!

Today was such a long day! here is a rundown of what i did today!

9:00-9:40= wake up and get ready.
10:00-10:50= The minority experiences class
11:00-11:50= AIS 102 class
12:00-1:00= Latino and Latin American Studies class homework
1:00-4:00= watch teen mom and i used to be fat on mtv
4:00-5:00= Safeway trip! and Pet store trip! we got a new beta fish:) a girl she is pink!
6:00-7:00= dinner time!
7:00-9:00= found some people at the gym who wanted to play indoor soccer so i played with them! for two full hours! it was so intence! and now i am sweaty! and thinking about a nice long shower and then hitting my books to read for homework!

all in all it was a great day and the best part was at the gym. it felt really good to play and run really hard! and they invited me to play again tomorrow! as you can tell will all the !!!!! im really happy:) it feels so good to work out and sweat off the pizza pocket i ate for dinner.... maybe i should eat better... hmmm haha yeah right so not gonna happen. well now im pretty much ranting! so im going to finish my day with a nice hot shower.... i might not even get to the reading part today, since im already practically falling asleep in my chair. hope everyone else had a day like mine:)

Classes Classes and more Classes

Classes started yesterday! and so far I love them all:) Though i haven't really done anything in my Latino and Latin American studies class yet. I think My Favorite class is going to be The Minority Experiences even though it will definitely be my hardest class because it is an upper division class(which means it is usually geared towards Juniors and Seniors.) but i will work hard and try to keep up. I'm especially excited for the final paper in that class because I get to interview Someone of a Minority group(Luis) and write a paper on his experiences. It just sounds fun to me:)

I'm also really excited about my AIS class not really the content but i have two professors who are really funny and one of them has sarcastic humor that I really like.

Today my Roommate got back from Mexico I am finally not alone... Its weird not having Elyse here with us even though she wasn't in the room all that often. 

And of course it snowed last night, but its warmed up so the snow is melting off my car now! Thank the Lord:)

Back to Ellensburg again!

Christmas and New Years was super fun:) Alyssa is finally home from the Netherlands and Shawn and Nikki came to Grandmas house with the girls:)

Right now it is 11 degrees here in Ellensburg and I'm kind of afraid to go outside but i have a few things i have to take care of and it requires me venturing into the cold abyss....

I am losing one of my roommates so there will only be two of us in the room from now on... Elyse decided to transfer to a comunity college in Bellevue. Not only was it just too expencive for her but central doesnt reconize her major. So she is going to a cheeper college that does.

I moved back in yesterday and spent the night by myself, today Elyse came and is moving her stuff out:( and Emily isnt coming until tomorrow so i have another night by myself. hmmmm maybe its time for a starwars marathon...

For christmas Luis got me 5 really cute shirts from wet seal that were super on sale, he also got me a glass thingy i really have no idea how to explain it so here is a picture of it:)

It was super cute we were shopping in the everett mall and we went into a shoe store and he told me he had to go to the bathroom. So i looked around for a little and he came back and we went to some other stores. An hour later we walked by the glass store in the mall and he started looking around at all the stuff and the lady that worked there asked if she could help us find something and he said "Yes I placed an order an hour ago and the guy told me to come back to pick it up." I was so supprised:) and happy I love glass stuff:)

I start classes tomorrow! Still trying to figure out how my online class will work but ill ask today.

Now it is time to venture into the cold...
